Tom Rowland is a professional artist working in London, UK. He has earned international recognition in the fields of film, photography, and music. Tom's debut film 'Primitive' (2014) met with international acclaim, winning Best Dance Film in 2015 at the BAFTA Award-qualifying film festival Aesthetica (ASFF). It has been screened at The Lincoln Center (New York), and other prominent venues and occasions around the world, including the BAFTA-qualifying London Short Film Festival 2015. Tom’s directorial CV also includes films for major concerts in St Martin-in-the-fields, Trafalgar Square, and music videos for some of the UK's most exciting new artists, including God Damn (One Little Indian records) and Call Me Loop. His corporate clients include Bacardi, Ogilvy & Mather, Metropolis Studios, and many more.

As a professional photographer, Tom has photographed many top artists, notably including Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters, Noel Gallagher, Bullet For My Valentine, Weezer, Jamie Cullum, Kodaline, The Orwells, and IAMDDB. Corporate clients include Mastercard, Universal Group, Lewitt, Genelec, and many more. He is also a leading dance photographer, having worked with many contemporary dancers from Rambert, in Sadler’s Wells and the Royal Ballet, Covent Garden. His work has been shown round the world from a solo exhibition in the Tea Building, Shoreditch, to public displays in Manhattan NY and South Africa.

Tom has composed acclaimed and award-nominated scores to films and theatrical productions, most recently for dance productions in Wilton's Music Hall, The Wilderness Festival, and The Dulwich Picture Gallery. His clients include major companies and major brands such as M&S, Rambert, and Lost Boys Inc., London. Tom’s musical work also extends to video games, working as chief audio producer on the critically-acclaimed music video game Chime Sharp, where he worked with numerous artists including Chvrches, CFCF, Steve Reich, and Kavinsky.
